1. Your Right to Delete Your Data
At ZanziServices, we respect your privacy and give you full control over your personal information. You may request deletion of your data at any time, including:
- Profile information (name, phone number, address)
- Booking history and service interactions
- Ratings, reviews, and feedback
- Payment and transaction records (excluding legally required retention)
2. How to Request Data Deletion
You can initiate a deletion request through any of the following:
- In-app settings: Go to Profile > Privacy > Delete My Data
- Email: Send a request to hello@zanzi.co.za with your registered phone number
- WhatsApp Support: Message “Delete my data” to our support line
We will verify your identity and confirm deletion within 7 working days.
3. What Happens After Deletion
Once your data is deleted:
- Your account will be deactivated
- All personal data will be removed from our active systems
- Some anonymized or legally required records may be retained for audit or compliance purposes
4. Third-Party Services
If you’ve interacted with third-party providers (e.g., service men or payment gateways), we will notify them of your deletion request where applicable. However, they may have their own data retention policies.
5. Exceptions
We may retain certain data if:
- Required by law (e.g., tax or financial records)
- Needed to resolve disputes or enforce our terms
- You have pending transactions or unresolved issues
